As President of J Strategies, Inc., Jaime Venditti believes the catalyst to success is excellent client services coupled with creative and effective strategy. Exercising a hands-on approach, Jaime is involved in developing a strategy for every client. Jaime maintains close relationships with advocacy organizations, business groups, and various industry partners throughout New York, making her uniquely successful in quality alliance development.
Jaime is known throughout the state for her ally development, grasstops, grassroots, and coalition development work. Over the past 14 years, Jaime has developed a keen expertise within the healthcare industry specializing in pharmaceuticals. She also has extensive experience working for industries such as, aviation, energy, technology, insurance, tort reform, agriculture, and cyberspace.
Prior to founding J Strategies, Inc., Jaime Venditti was the Vice President of a Central New York government affairs firm where she oversaw the management of all clients.
Jaime was responsible for all client media campaigns ranging from media tours, event planning, press conferences, editorial boards, and media placement. In addition, she managed the firm’s lobbying, legislative affairs and public relations efforts for many of the firm’s corporate and not-for-profit clients. Previously, Jaime spent time as an analyst in the New York State Assembly Majority Leader’s office.
Her background also includes experience as a campaign consultant for local and state candidates, as well as being an award winning public relations account manager for a large advertising and public relations firm. Jaime’s experience in both the public and private sector has given her a breadth of familiarity with the official process and keen knowledge of how decisions are made. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Syracuse University and continues to reside in the Central New York area.
Julie Miner thrives on mastering policy details in order to create a results driven message, turning opponents into allies. Julie came to J Strategies, Inc. with a background in the federal government, labor, corporate communications, and political polling. Most recently, in her capacity as a Regional Director for U.S. Senator Charles Schumer, Julie worked on a wide range of issues including defense, healthcare, business development, environmental remediation projects, and appropriations.
Her accomplishments with Senator Schumer include helping to organize the first AHL outdoor hockey game in the country and working through the Penn Traffic bankruptcy, saving thousands of jobs in New York. Prior to that, Julie was the Political Director for the Empire State Regional Council of Carpenters, a union that represented 15,000 members across New York. With the Carpenters Union she worked with lawmakers to rally support for legislation pertaining to the health and welfare of working families, managed member political participation initiatives, and directed the political action committee.
Her experience includes policy work and managing outreach efforts in financial issues, social services, healthcare, and the HIV/AIDS, LGBTQ, and Latino communities. Julie also specializes in business-to-business relationship building and brings a depth of understanding of the political process to the clients she serves.
Julie holds a Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Political Science from Syracuse University. She works with the International Institute for Human Empowerment and the Mental Health Foundation. She is a former member of the New York State Rheumatology Society, and a former board member of the Lupus Foundation of Mid and Northern New York and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region. She also participated in NUAIR (The Northeast UAS Airspace Integration Research Alliance).
As the Director of Social Media at J Strategies, Ashlee’s expertise is in building alliances and an issue following, branding successful campaigns, and mobilizing support around legislative issues through the use of social media. One of her most notable social media campaigns includes MMA4NY, which aided in the 2016 legalization of mixed martial arts (MMA) in New York and garnered nearly 14 million impressions on Facebook and Twitter. Ashlee also developed and implemented the social media strategy behind bFair2DirectCare, which helped earn higher wages in the 2017-18 state budget for direct care workers and garnered more than 4 million impressions on Facebook and Twitter.
Social media is an ever-evolving platform and clients often need to spread their messages quickly and extensively. Ashlee excels at adapting to these changes, as well as developing and implementing the most innovative social media strategies in order to maximize the outreach of a message.
Ashlee is also skilled at blogging on legislative issues and in industry trade publications, designing marketing materials, social content creation, website management, traditional media, and email campaigns.
Prior to joining the J Strategies Team in 2013, Ashlee gained legislative experience interning in both the U.S Senate and New York State Senate, and working on several state political campaigns. Ashlee has experience in several industries including health care, energy, and casino gaming, and has strong connections to the sports industry. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Kyle Palmieri Foundation and is a graduate of the University at Albany, where she studied Political Science and Business Administration. Ashlee resides in Hoboken, NJ and works out of J Strategies’ New York City office.
At J Strategies, Minda employs her variety of skills in crafting thorough and successful press events, roundtables, and issue campaigns. She prides herself on “thinking of things before you know you need them,” to produce a truly complete work product.
Minda has extensive experience in executive operations, scheduling, and management. In her most recent role as Assistant Director of Scheduling to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, she managed the Governor’s daily schedule and assisted in planning and managing executive ceremonial and press events. She also helped plan and coordinate the staff on the ground for summits and meetings with other state governors, and press events and meetings with the New York City Mayor, Leaders of the New York State Assembly and Senate, and the Vice President of the United States.
Prior to this, Minda worked for U.S. Senator Charles Schumer of New York, as Deputy Regional Director in Central New York. She had daily contact with local elected officials and stakeholders from major CNY cities, and was responsible for location scouting and advancing the Senator’s official press conferences and roundtables in the region. Minda managed the daily office operations, and represented the Senator and gave remarks on his behalf at numerous official events and meetings. Minda also interned for a former U.S. Representative of New York, where she conducted campus outreach, aided in press event planning, and staffing of the Representative. She has experience working numerous city, state, and federal political campaigns.
Minda holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations, with a minor in Public Communications from Syracuse University. She is a member of the Albany County Young Democrats and the Capital Alliance for Young Professionals.
At J Strategies, Kaitlyn uses her past experience to create unique, informational and dynamic events for clients. Joining diverse organizations and clients together, Kaitlyn unifies messaging to effectively communicate and execute a common goal.
Prior to coming to J Strategies, Kaitlyn worked in several different positions within the New York State Senate, most recently serving as Legislative Director for Senator Amedore and Committee Director of the New York State Senate Standing Committee on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. Kaitlyn’s responsibilities included drafting legislation, managing and guiding legislation through the New York State Senate. Additionally, Kaitlyn represented the Senator at various public functions and meetings, serving as a key staff member to communicate the Senator’s legislative agenda.
In addition to her legislative experience, Kaitlyn has worked on numerous political campaigns at the state, county and city level. She has experience scheduling, staffing, canvassing, managing volunteers and planning campaign events.
Kaitlyn holds a Bachelor’s degree from Siena College and a Master’s in Public Administration from University at Albany. Outside of work, Kaitlyn spends her time volunteering for Girls on the Run Capital Region.She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Girls on the Run Capital Region Board and is also the Race Director for the GOTRCR Fall 5K Series. She is also a member of the ALB Lady Project, a not for profit networking group.
