Julie Mosley leads a diverse group of talented staff across all disciplines and a range of client industries, while also managing the day-to-day operations of the firm.
With a keen understanding of policy, communications, government relations, alliance development, business development, and strategy, Julie has created results-driven messages for small businesses and Fortune 100 companies alike, turning opponents into allies and challenges into overwhelming successes.
Along with her dedicated team, Julie works hand-in-hand with clients on developing and implementing plans to achieve short-term and long-term objectives, building upon her experience in the public and private sectors and a multitude of relationships with stakeholders, policymakers, nonprofit organizations, small business owners, clergy, and community activists. She has extensive experience in finance, labor, social services, and healthcare issues.
Before Jaime Venditti and Julie founded J Strategies, Julie served as Regional Director for U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and was the first woman political director for the Empire State Regional Council of Carpenters.
Julie supports a variety of charitable causes, including the International Institute for Human Empowerment and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Capital Region (where she previously served as a former board vice president), and Grassroots Givers. A dog lover, Julie provides training guidance to new Pyrenees owners and supports the National Great Pyrenees Rescue. Julie is a graduate of Syracuse University and lives in Albany.
